New Guidelines for Bak MSOA Auditions Published!
I just found out that the Bak MSOA Audition Guidelines for the 2017-2018 school year have been published. As you probably know by now, I specialize in preparing students for Theatre, Communication and Voice, so I lay in wait all September for these guidelines to appear! I have looked over the guidelines thoroughly for changes in my art area specializations. Voice and Theatre remain the same, however, there is a big change in the guidelines for Communication. This year, students will be required to prepare a one-minute speech on any topic at home, and bring in a hand-written copy of the speech with them to the audition. As you can imagine, this is a big job for a 5th grader to prepare with confidence and finesse! This and EVERY other acitvity and aspect of the audition will be covered in my Bak Communication Preparation class that starts October 4th in Palm Beach Gardens.
